Anyone Tried Juicing?!

Hey guys!!

I am still pre op, but I was thinking of buying the Nutribullet that is being advertised right now. Its gotten a bunch of good reviews on amazon and I like the idea of still being able to get good nutrition in post op when I am on liquids. Has anyone tried juicing? I feel like it would be a really great tool to have so that I can have as much energy as possible. Ive been reading that a lot of people have a hard time eating after surgery (when they get to the solid food phase) and I am really scared...so I figure if I am ok with liquids I can just supplement when I need to....

What do you think?

I was thinking the same thing. I know juicing is an amazing source of nutriets, but I also know that it's really really easy to "drink" tons of calorie. Also, my post-op plan said to make sure I "don't drink your days calories." The sleeve is like a syphon and will allow liquids more easily. Thus allowing for more intake. Just an FYI.

I am planning on adding a lot of greens like spinach and kale along with veggies like carrots and beets (I love beets). My mom has a really good recipe for a green shake, its kale, cucumber, flax seed, ginger and apples. I'm just going to use fruit mainly to sweeten the drinks.
