Why am I hungry all the time?

I am 7 months post-op and have lost 104 pounds. I am very happy with my progress, but I have gotten to a point where I stay hungry all the time. I have started eating the "BAD" things again even though I know they are going to make me sick. Any suggestions to get pass this before I gain weight that I worked so hard to get off back?

Check out THIS thread. It has what my surgeon told me.

I am not that far along but do you think it's more of a thirst then a hunger, I thought I was hungry all the time until I started drinking when I gut the hunger urge it has helped. Keep your drink with you maybe it will help curve the hunger munchies attacks. Good luck you have done an awesome job already you will get through this too.

I kno the more carbs you eat it's possible to cause you to be more hungry .. Just eat every two to three hrs some protein

How dedicated you have been to lose all those pounds! You can get lots of speculations on this forum that are all wonderful advice. If you think you are sabotaging yourself, go back to the psychologist and deal with an expert.

If you're moving into maintenance, then maybe its time to get offthe low carbs and eat more fruit and veg? A balanced diey may help.

I'm following everything but for the last 2 days I am eating no sugar added frozen yogurt I am eating 4 oz of it. I am stopping from today. Also even though I'm eating protein my calories consumption is 1200 a day average I'm 2 months out I am losing average of 5 lbs a week I started at 285 I'm 244 my nut said its imp I eat 1200 calories a day ??? I am confused since everyone else is consuming 600-800 calories a day ???

Stop comparing yourself. You are not like others. Listen to your NUT and your body. Eat a well balanced meal.
