So i took a small dose daily before surgery for like 1-3 years off and on. Anesthesia doctor said not to take it day before and day of surgery so i didn't. And i haven't since. I was sleeved on 1/29. Does anyone else take pills? Is it ok to swallow small tablets ??

I was given 2 tylenols caps at the hospital the day after my surgery for a headache. I believe its up to the individual and how well they go down. But I'm sure taking a small pill won't hurt your sleeve.

I was allowed my 6-8 pills that I take each night the night of surgery. Took some time to get in, but otherwise fine. Of course, your doc will have his own opinion more relevant than my experience. Celexa is better weaned from than stopped abruptly, I thought, but maybe I am wrong. It's the side effects of stopping abruptly that can be unpleasant. Again, I am not a medical professional so don't trust me too much! LOL.

I also take Celexa. I was told that if everything goes well i can resume it the day after surgery. My psychiatric doctors said a day or 2 off wont really effect it too much.

I was not informed to stop it the day before surgery... hmm now i need to go check that since today is my day before

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
