Because you are probably going to die - why not have your wake before surgery, so you can attend?

It has a few advantages. It gave me the opportunity to tell everyone what I thought of them one last time.

And I got to have the definition of a 'food funeral'.

One thing I must say, because I hadn't told anyone I was having the procedure, nobody knew why the **** they were there.

I'm really SICK of all the negativity on the board, we come here for support and all we hear is negativity from all you all that think you are perfect. Lets add to the thread that only crazy people would go to Mexico for surgery... and I just want to know is it okay if I do shots of tequila in the recovery room or should I wait until I'm back in my room? You know, cuz it's a clear liquid.

Personally I go to Kroger & sample the fish, the cheese, the mushroom, olive & hummus bar. Swing by the bakery for a tiny crumb of cookie.

I am not ashamed to say that in the process I realized I had to pee and I knocked a small toddler crying over a toy down & shoved an old man blocking the aisle looking at preparation H.
