Cold 8 days pre op.

I just woke yesterday with a cold and I fly out march 7 and get surgery the 8th. I'm hoping it'll be gone by then. Will they cancel the surgery? I already paid for the flight. I'm worried. Any suggestions?

If you like the spicy stuff, don't underestimate the power of chili peppers, either. The hotter the better! Burn it out B)

You poor guys! Take as much Vitamin c as you can' date=' your body disposes of what it doesn't use. Also, I can't say enough about the power of onions and garlic on a cold. You know the chicken soup thing is really about the onions and garlic in it! So if you are on your liquid pre op diet, just cut a bunch up, sauté until clear and cook to a mushy consistency in chicken broth, then put it in the blender if necessary.

I hope you all get well! Oh, and change your toothbrush, or sterilise it.

Okay so I am taking all of the above, zinc (zicam), Vitamin C, airborne. I'm feeling better. Just a little stuffy nothing major. I pray we're both feeling better by surgery date.
