Portions after phase 4

Hi all! Im starting week 3 and my doctor has me eating 2 oz., 3 times a day and 2 oz. of protien shake, 2 times a day. My question is, will I be able to have more that 2 oz. after week 4?

I was 8oz protien shake 3 x day from 2 weeks before surgery to 3 weeks after surgery. I still average 2 shakes( 8 oz) a day and or protien bars. Starting day 22, was allowed soft mushy foods, cream soups, etc. Don't push it though, and follow your dr.'s orders. I thought my surgeon was extra conservative...I was liquids liquids liquids only for 5 weeks total.

Good Luck on your journey!

I'm 6 weeks out and although my doctor will let me have more, I'm still only eating about 2-3 oz of food at a time and that completely fills me up.

I'm eating 2oz at 5 weeks sometimes less it depends on the day I don't know way

Im mostly concerned about getting enough protien AND water with such a small amount of food. I dont feel hungry, but staying healthy is as much of a priority as losing weight.

It's hard to meet all of those goals particularly with such a small stomach. I try to eat a babybel light cheese with each meal to help with extra protein. Unfortunately, I have not been a big fan of any of the protein shakes/drinks. Just make sure you take your vitamins and work towards those goals.
