My poor tummy

At my first meeting with my surgeon and nutritionist they told me to begin taking a multivitamin and calcium citrate. I have been doing that for a week or so. The last few days, I am having stomach discomfort and loose stool. Is this a side effect of the vitamins?

It could be if you are not taking them with food. When I take vitamin E on an empty stomach, within 30 minutes, I have to throw up.

You should call your surgeon. You are early post op so it could be lots of things but it can easily dehydrate you.

You need to consult with your surgeons office.

Thanks! I'm actually pre-op...just beginning this journey.

Oh I'm sorry!
