I'm a little over 2 months out and I'm getting to where I can take some gulps. Sometimes, if I get a little crazy, it will hurt but just for a few seconds then I'm fine. Normal, I guess.

  • That's where I am, too. I was so cautious for the first couple of weeks, just taking tiny sips. I accidentally took bigger swallows a few times and realized I could handle more without the pain now.

I can take 3 normal size drinks at drink #4 I feel the pain in my stomach. Only for a few seconds though.

I am 4 months out if that helps at all

I'm 7 days out and I can pretty much take normal drinks. I'm averaging 5+ bottled waters a day. Not counting my jello, popsicles, and broth,

As of yesterday, I've realized I can take about 3 normal sized drinks. If I do get a little too much, it does hurt for just a sec as it kind of squeezes by, but it's not horrible. This has made it so much easier to get all my fluids in. I'm very happy!
