I've had corn post op and it was fine. It's a carby veggie so you shouldn't really eat it all the time if your trying for low carb, I think that's probably where the warning to stay away comes from. But I've eaten it and was fine!

I agree...corn is a higher carb vegetable...along with carrots, beats, potatoes. I don't know if you "can't" have it...

I enjoy a chicken tortilla soup that has a little corn and have had no problems.

I eat corn at least once a week and it has not affected any weight loss etc.....
