Relieved to Not Be Alone

It is soooo nice to see that I'm not alone on this 200+ lbs to lose journey! My surgery date is April 8th, and I'm counting down the days. It can't come soon enough. I say that but I keep alternating between ecstatic and terrified. Ahh, the confusion!

  • I feel the same way! Have you ever been to a forum that 1)moves as fast as this one, 2) has such supportive people on it and 3) where every single member of the board knows what it's like to be obese

Welcome! And yes... It does my heart good to know others are on as long a walk as I am. It is easy to feel isolated.

I haven't, and I love it here. I'm so glad the negative nellies have been banned.

Hi Khloe! I'm sure you're excited - your big day is less than 5 weeks away! I, too was very glad to see other members who had more than 200 lbs to lose because there were many times I have felt like the fattest person in the world! It is good to know that there are many of us out there with similar struggles. You are a beautiful young woman- it will be nice when everyone can see how lovely you are. Good luck on your sleeve journey!

Hang in there your times coming! This is a good board you don't have to hide! We all have the same issues!
