So glad everyone is doing well. I did not have such good luck with my recovery. I had a serious reaction the anesthesia even thorough I warned then and am still in the hospital. I am almost 48 hours post op and just now stopped dry heaving and holding down some water. I am hoping the worst is behind me and I am going home today. Glad everyone else is doing so well keep me updated, and good luck to those who are still yet to come this week :)

3 days post op I made it!!! Lol (knocking on wood) day 1 was ruff I remember everything up until surgery pre op after that I was gone!! I woke up in recovery they wanted me to cough no problem. I can here my husband and mother in law just don't remember seeing them. That's how my day 1 felt like I had my surgery out by 12:30 walking by 5pm boy does that help. Day 2 pressure pain on abdominal area super bad gas pains horrified left side of shoulder just kept walking as much as I could. 10am cathedeter removed peed solo by 12:30 again I just kept waking Ice chips wasn't feeling them but I had no problems with them just didn't have a taste for anything!! (Food commercial were making me sick) I felt better sleeping on the chair more than anything too. 3rd day I am up already I have very little pain on my stomach just sore I am sitting up now and dr said I will get liquids today. Husband is passed out they brought in a bed for him as well I had a hernia and my gallbladder removed.

Day 2 post op.

I am extremely sore, the box incision on my right side hurts the worst, I'm also having a lot of rumbling and bubbly feeling all through my stomach. It's loud too. It's hurting me more to walk today than it did the day of surgery is that weird?

My big incision is by my belly button. It definitely hurts more than the others. I have the grumble and rumble and my surgery was Monday they have me Pepcid and that really helped ALOT. Also I am drinking cold water instead of room temp water they said that could be why too. I hope you feel better. I had a really terrible 2 days and am just now getting myself together. I am finally going home. I hope you feel better soon.

I didn't have one either. My dr said I would have shown some supmtoms already if that was the case.

My doctor requires it for all his patients just as a precautionary measure. But it's where you stand in front of a x ray machine and you drink two different drinks and they watch them travel through your body and make sure there is no leak or anything.
