i am 5 days out today and i know what you mean about getting your prtien in.. shoot getting anything in is hard enough.. but my doc has me on full liquids and im having my shakes with fat free milk it goes down a little smoother then water even.. in was able to get a whole one ( 8 oz not all at one time ) yesterday.. im aloud sugar free pudding made with fatfree milk i bout unjury protien padower unflaoverd and added it to the milk before i made the pudding you cant aste it at all and it goes down smooth gredat way to hide the proiten.. creammy soups i add the "enriched" milk to it as well .. good luck and keep me posted if you come up with something to get the protien in.. thanks

I start purees today Hopefully it will be easyer to get the protein in. I have a VERY hard time with the shakes. Pre op they were fine now (two weeks out) they make me sick to the stomach!!! I try to drink one everyday but it is soooo hard. I tried all kinds of powders and pre made they all have the same after taste and way too thick even when mixed with water. So I am hoping that the puree stage will allow me to get more protein.
