Gman slowly backs out. Looks like a dangerous neighborhood. :o

I'm on implanon, it's a small rod the doctor inserts into your upper inner arm. It lasts for 3 years but you can get it out whenever you want. I am almost up to my 5th year on implanon (had it changed once) and haven't had many problems. The only think that bothers me is that I have really irregular periods. Sometimes I don't have them for up to a year, sometimes I'll have them off and on for 2 months.

I have pcos too, that didn't affect my choice of contraception though

I use Lo Loestrin Fe and I love it.

Don't back out gman, wifey will oogle your buns!!

No Gmanbat you have to quickly "back out"

Or it won't work! :P

I recommend the paraguard IUD to patients - it's non-hormonal and extremely effective.

asking about effective birth control implies that OP is having sex ;)

I use nuvaring and LOVE it, so far (5 1/2yrs) on it no surprises and I don't have the hormonal issue I had with the pill.

Is the nuvaring one that you insert yourself or does the doctor do it ( like an I. U. D.)?
