I started my pre-op diet today gearing up for the sleeve on the 26th. My doctor has me drinking 4 of the BariEssential shakes. I was so relieved to add the PB2, because I was struggling with just the protein added to Almond Milk. It was too foamy for my liking.

I am on my preop diet of just Straight fluid ..... three protein shakes a day and 64+ clear liquids

Did you cut out caffeine? I'm worried I'm going to have a crazy headache if I go cold turkey with the diet soda and coffee. Maybe I should start cutting back now before the preop diet. I won't be able to drink it after.

I was ok'd for coffee... Now. I have 1 medium M-F.

I'm not a huge caffeine person anyway but I do enjoy daily coffee. I was told two cups coffee/black tea a day is fine. Green tea is also fine with no limit imposed. I know that some doctors don't allow any caffeinated beverages though.
