another newbie.

Hello all, I am from england and i am off to belgium on sunday 19th november to be banded on the 21st at the Elyzea clinic! I am very nervous but as i have been overweight my whole life the band is my last hope! D x.

For me the days before the surgery were the worst, not knowing what to expect and questioning whether I'm doing the right thing. Once it's done, it's done and you'll really wonder if you've done the right thing. But after the 2nd day, you'll be feeling better and then at least for me, I knew I had made the right decision. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Let us know how it goes. Eve

Nerves are to be expected, but don't let them get you too wound up!!! It will all be over soon, and you will be an official bandster! If you have any questions before the surgery be sure to ask away. And check in with us afterwards and let us know how it went and how you are doing. This is an awesome site for help, and support. Welcome....

thanks guys, i will keep you informed of my progress. Two of my friends had the surgery last year and are both doing very well, they both look fantastic! I just want to walk into a shop and buy "normal" size clothes! D x.
