  1. Hi Janice, Hope you're not too sore, best of luck on your losing streak! Donna x.
  2. Hi Donna, Glad they are going to put everything right for you after all the stress! Anyway I'm interested to know who did your surgery? Also you definitely deserve the cost of the four fills back!! Take care Donna x.
  3. Hi, I have 2 friend's banded with THG and both have nothing nice to say about them! General opinion is once they have your money they no longer care. This is just 1 of the reasons I decided to go to Belgium, although paying half of what my friend's paid also helped! Donna x.
  4. Hi Brandychick, I'm a vodka and diet coke girl myself and if I have it in a tall glass with lot's of ice, it goes down no problem. Sorry but there is no way I am giving up alcohol !! Hope this helps, Take care, Donna x.
  5. Hi Dave, I took soluble paracetamol and i am pretty sure you can take ibuprofen at the same time, phone your local chemist to make sure though, better safe than sorry. Hope you feel better soon. Donna.
  6. Oh my God, that must have been frightening for you, im so glad he is ok. My 3yr old did the same thing 2 weeks ago but there was only 15 left in the packet so she was fine luckily! Do not beat yourself up about it though it wasnt your fault, kids will get up to mischief all the time and you physically cant watch them 24 hours a day! Take care, Donna x.
  7. Oh my God Lunasa, 7 stone? I would love to lose that, but I agree its too easy to pile it all back on! Im hoping the band will stop that from happening in the future, its easy to lose weight, its keeping it off that hard, but we will get there, Im just one of them people that wants everything fast! I need to sort my head out and get back on track. Donna x.
  8. At the moment you dont wanna know!!! Im not in a very good place right now and when that happens I eat whatever goes down easily! I know I shouldnt but just cant help it when I feel crappy. I have lost 28lb since surgery which I suppose is good but I want to lose a bit faster (never happy)! I know the band is the best thing I have ever done and I will get over this blip, I have 2 banded friends who have lost 15st between them so I look to them for inspiration! Donna x

  13. Hi Katie I am also a smoker, banded in Belgium by Dr Mignon who knew I smoked and it didnt bother him. I refuse to give up until I have lost all the weight I need to! I do plan to quit but I know I will crave all the things that go down easily if I cant have a cigarette, so for me it wouldnt make sense to quit now. take care, Donna x.

  15. Hi Annie, The best things I found are: chewable Vitamins from Boots, Remegel chewable indigestion tablets and Nurofen meltlets (lemon flavoured pain killers that melt on the tongue) which I swore by! Hope this helps and good luck with the op. Donna x.
  16. hi girls, I agree too, sometimes I have not got a clue what our american cousins are talking about! I am lucky though as I have people to turn to for advice as my best friend is banded, another friend is too plus her brother and sister! I knew nothing about the band until they had it done though, it does seem to be gaining popularity every day. take care, Donna x.
