Had my surgery yesterday. Been having high blood pressure since then. Is this normal?

Yeah, that was me 2 weeks ago. It will get down gradually. Remember your body has gone through a traumatic surgery. Just take it a day at a time. Good luck to you! :)

Yes my blood pressure was so high in the hospital that they gave me drugs to lower them. I was worried about it but my husband was right there to assure me that it was due to the pain. Soon as I got home though my blood pressure returned to normal.

Do not worry Michelle!!! You will be ok :). Good luck. Day two and three sucked the most !! Day 4 and it will get easier .

My blood pressure went high enough for them to give me medicine too. They put a lot of fluids in me and that had a lot to do with it. My blood sugar also shot up high enough that they gave me a shot of insulin. Within 24 hours, my blood pressure was normal and my blood sugar normal.
