Today I hit the 50 lb. mark, having had surgery on December 12th. Almost every day someone will say something nice about my weight loss. Today a friend started to say, " you look really..." And before she could finish I blurted out " I've lost 50 lbs!" We laughed about how much I sounded like one of the first graders I teach but I was just so excited that I couldn't wait to share.

Started at 282 and weighed 232 today. For the first time EVER, the scale feels like my friend.
