Nutrisystem packaged foods

My brother gave me a boatload of Nutrisystem packaged foods and snacks. Size wise, they are perfect, but nutritionally not so sure. Decent protein but also fairly carb heavy. Have any of you ever used these as meals, and if yes, how did it affect your weight loss?

I am a pretty darn good home chef, so this does go against my grain, but for work, on the run, seems okay.

Thoughts?

As i recall, it is carb based and lots of goopiness added which turns it into a slider.

I tried nutrisystem a few years ago and the taste was horrible. Super processed, and, yes... goopy, and to me had a chemical taste. Can't be too healthy. The program required a serving of protein and veg along with the "meal" so what was the point really. Without it i had a healthy meal on my plate.
