I plan to have my first visit at 3 months. I am self pay... had my sleeve done in mexico.

I had my first, 2 weeks after surgery. The second at 6 weeks. The next one is scheduled for 3 months and 6 months. then once a year. Though I am not sure I need to see the surgeon after the 6 month mark, might just be my nutritionist.

2 weeks - surgeon and nurse

6 weeks - dietician

4 months- nurse, doc if needed

9 months - nurse, doc if needed

12 months- nurse and doc

might be some time with dietician in there too at those visits....not sure when

I just saw my dr for the first follow up between my 2nd and 3rd week. I am doing great with no side effects at all. He said "see you in 3months!" I was a little shocked but I will go back in April.

Saw him 2 weeks, 4 weeks and today, 4 months post op. lost 70 pounds since sept preop diet! I have 12 pounds to go!! Summer. Here I come!!!!!

Had 3 week, 2 month, 6 month followup with nut, aarn. Next is 9 month and 1 year. I think I have follow ups until 2 years. We also have group support groups once a month.
