New, Hungry, Bored

I am new to this forum as well. I was sleeved by Dr. Ortiz in Tijuana on 1-14-12. I have lost 30 pounds; 21 of that pre-op. Dr. Ortiz has you on nothing but liquids for 21 days. I am so hungry, bored with the few soups out there that you can "drink". I'm even tired of my protein drinks. Any ideas to get through this post-op nightmare is greatly appreciated. God Bless.

I found making my own chicken broth was way better than store bought Soup. I can drink it much easier than I can plain Water or Crystal Light.

It's not difficult to make. I put two or three whole chickens in a soup pot and cover with cold water. Add about a cup each of chopped carrots, celery and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and then lower heat to medium. That's it. Just cook for 3-4 hours and it's done.

The chicken from the soup can be frozen and used when you're at the pureed stage.
