Bleeding

Has anyone else had trouble with bleeding heavily while on preop diet? I normally do not have periods at all, in fact haven't in 9 Years due to my type of birth control. But on my 4th day of preop,I started bleeding and its been heavy. Dr placed me on meds to help stop it before surgery but I am 4 days away from the big day and still goin strong!! Please let me know this gets better.
