eating slow

Anyone have any tips on how to eat slower? For some reason this is the hardest thing for me to adapt to.

My dietician told me the 20 rule, you chew everything at least 20 times, wait 20 seconds between bites, and anything left on your plate after 29 minutes has to be pushed away. Hope this helps. Oh yeah

20 minutes not 29

It's totally anti-social but I take a bite and then check a status update on Facebook or a thread on here. Then I take another bite.

Eating slow is not the issue for me, it's the fact that my food is COLD because I eat so slow. Very frustrating, sometimes I end up throwing it out (after reheating) because, well, it's just gross! I need a "warming" plate for my meals! Good luck!
