January 22, 201313 yr Yay I finally have my surgery date. I am going to be sleeved on 2/20 at Kaiser Hospital So. San Francisco by Dr Khayat. I am so happy. Its been a long road for me, started in September 2012.

January 22, 201313 yr Congrats! I thought I was going to be a January sleever, but it looks more like February. I'm hoping to hear any day now to schedule the date.
January 22, 201313 yr Author Its been a long 6 month wait for this and I thought it would never get here. I am so ready to change my life. I am able to walk 7 miles a day in 1 hour and I couldn't walk for 5 minutes without getting tired. This is the best thing I have ever decided!

January 24, 201313 yr Author I am excited because I go on a cruise in Apr. 2014, to the Caribbean. It would be nice to be a regular size instead of plus size. No bathing suit but cute shorts and tank tops, lol....
January 24, 201313 yr I really can't wait to feel more comfortable in shorts and summer clothes. We usually go to Floriday on vacation in September. So I hope to be wearing some cute stuff by then!!!

Summer is about 5/6 months away and I am planning on loving every minute! I live on the jersey shore and I haven't enjoyed my local beach in at least 7 years... I'm thinking a cute retro one piece or tankini. No more crossover floral suits with attached skirts for me!!
January 28, 201313 yr Good for all of you February sleevers!! I had mine November 28,2012. It's the best thing I've ever done for myself. It's been a complete lifestyle change, but well worth it. I've lost nearly 50 pounds and feel great. I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to have my surgery after I had gone through all the prerequisites because it was close to the end of the year and there were no surgery dates available! My deductible had been met and I was close to my out of pocket max. To go into 2013 would have made it unaffordable for me. But God is good! Somehow I got a surgery date the second week in November!
