I'll never recommend them, but I am guilty of occasional use.

Thanks for all of your input! I do drink 5 hour sometimes. I just miss my Rockstar. Every time I want one I will think your comment, Fiddleman! Great info!

I had a 5 hour energy once since having surgery and I wouldn't drink one again' date=' I had never tried one before and it didn't sit well with me, just my experience with it.[/quote']

It was hard for me to drink at first too. Not now.

How did you get used to it, because some times I could use the extra energy!!

The problem I have with all those drinks and sodas is I never realized how much AIR they put in those stupid carbonated drinks! I take one sip, and all that co2 just fills up my stomach. I think I'm kit gonna give all that up, and I'll be better off for it - consider another addiction conquered :)

Oh' date=' I used to drink those all the time before surgery. I was one wired dude all the time. That being said, they are pretty full of chemicals so will probably not help weight loss because fat cells like to cling to toxins ( most canned sodas or energy drinks, especially the diet variety, have a cocktail of chemicals in it). Best to stick to Water until further along in order to not mess with the healing process either.[/quote']

For sure! No plan anytime soon on having one.
