Weaker Immune System Now :(

So I'm 2 months ... And I keep getting sick. Before I had surgery I got the flu shot to protect me, but no luck :/

So far I've had ear & throat pain, and tested positive for Strep... Started 10 days of antibiotics

My new tummy doesn't like the antibiotics, and I have constant diarrhea... Lucky me lol

I was feeling better- No ear or throat pain, but now I started to get a sinus cold/flu. I feel congested, weak, and my entire body aches :(

And as if that all wasn't enough... I think those antibiotics are causing me to develop an yeast infection... WTFudge!!!!!!

Hi Yasmine, I am pre op and have had the flu shot and still went through what your going through. We are in a flu epidemic so it's kinda expected. Keep your head up, spring is coming. :)

I could have written your post at this very minute! I have missed the last two days of work because of the same things and I am also on 10 days of antibiotics and having problems with them. I started with a liquid and could not tolerate it. I ask for another type that I could crush for shorter amount of time. I went to pick it up and he just gave me capsules that I have to take two of them 4 times a day for 10 days! Geez! I think they are upsetting my stomach. I also had the flu shot before surgery. I have been sick before, but this time it is different. I feel weaker and less able to get over it like am usually able to do. I feel your pain. I hope it will not always be this way.

Your enzymes are probably low due to surgery. Try taking a probiotic or something to increase your enzymes.
