Surgery Monday 1-14

It's a beautiful Sunday and I am drinking a lot of water and vitamin water!! Getting prepared mentally, physically for a new chapter in my life! I'm scheduled for Surgery @ 10:15 am tomorrow.

Every time I think about it I get really nervous because I don't really know what to expect...how much weight I'm going to loose? will I be sick afterwards? Will I keep it off? How I will look & feel after weight loss?

I'm 5'3" tall 285 lbs! Ready to feel & look better.

Good luck and congrats on 2morrow I'm praying you will do great and it will be over before you know it! And you will look fab by the summer

Good luck! I am 5'4" and weighed 284. A lil over 2 weeks post op and I'm down 22 lbs. It's a great feeling! Hydration is key post op and your protein intake. Congrats to the new YOU!

Thanks for the encouraging words! I really appreciate them, the only person I've told is my mom and although she's been wonderful, it's nice to correspond with others who have or a going through similar changes.

The anxiety is perfectly normal, we all went through it right before surgery. There is no true way to know how much pain you will have post op because everyone is different, remember that if you have pain and take pain meds you will most likely have nausea because the pain meds cause nausea so make sure your dr gives you an anti nausea med. Good luck

. I am having surgery on Jan 31st. I start my liquid diet on Wed (or Thursday haha) What is the best protein shake or drink you have had preop. ? And I too will be sending prayers and good vibes your way tomorrow!
