What's the deal with head hunger? To me, head hunger has always meant that your mind makes you crave things, and you dont need them, and aren't truly hungry but your mind doesn't realize that. However, people on here many times say that head hunger feels just like real hunger. I don't really get this...if you are feeling the real hunger in your stomach, then how is it in your head? Seems so strange to me. I am 3 weeks out & frequently get hungry especially at night. I've tried drinking water, and I've tried gas reliever and tums & everything people have suggested, but nothing seems to fix it but food. Currently I am on soft foods. So my question is how do I know its real hunger as opposed to food hunger? I am ok with cravings but how do I fix the actual hunger pangs I am feeling if it really is only head hunger?
