Body stiffness and aches

I was sleeved Aug. 15, 2012 and for close to 3 months my whole body aches and my muscles get stiff. I didn't have this problem before surgery. I asked the nurse that I've been working with at the surgery center and she hasn't heard of this happening before. Anyone else have this problem?

I would run that by your surgeon and primary doctor. It could be your body adjusting to new metabolism and food intake, but best to check it out thoroughly.

  • Have you had your bloods done recently? Maybe some deficiency?

Thanks.

Yeah, if anything I had *less* aches and pains after surgery. Having *more* just seems... off.

I've kind of had the same issue. I feel like I have the achy body from the flu. It's become progressively worse since surgery. Doctor is stumped...

I just found some info on muscle and joint pain/soreness. These symptoms are from Protein deficiency. I've always wondered if I was getting enough protein. Guess ill try increasing it. Hope this helps you.

Through some research I think I have symptoms of Protein deficiency. Thanks for the question.
