Not sure who you were asking, but I'll answer anyway. I was in the hospital for two days - surgery on a Thursday and went home Saturday.

I was in the hospital 1 day. Had surgery at 8am on Thursday and was out by Friday at 4pm

That was a quick turn-around. I'm glad the program I went through plans for two nights. I don't think I would have been anywhere near ready after just one day. How long was your surgery?

He would have kept me if need be but I wasn't feeling bad at all. My surgery lasted 2 hrs

That's cool. Mine was supposed to be about 2 hours and 15 minutes. It ended up lasting a little over 4 hours. The surgeon had trouble with scars from the lapband he had to take out. I was kind of in sucks-to-be-me-ville for a while. I'm glad that's over with.

For almost five years. I actually had two of them. I had an erosion with the first and it had to be removed less than a year after it was put in and then the second one I had to have a port revision after 2 years and then it slipped and it had to be removed. So, I opted to get the sleeve when they removed the band. I'd have to say I did not have very good luck with lapband. While it was working it was good, but I guess that wan't meant to be for me in the long run.

24 hours after surgery they took x-rays to see if I had any leaks.

Same here, about 24 hours after surgery.

Good Luck! Wishing you well. I had mine on 10/15/12 and I was home the next afternoon. Let us know how you do. I also recommend starting on My Fitness Pal after surgery. ????
