no mac and cheese sorry !!!

I guess technically it counts as mushy, but nutritionally not a real solid choice. Have you looked into the website theworldaccordingtoeggface.com ? It has a ton of really tasty dishes that are high protein and low fat/low carb. I know for me, Carbs like Mac & Cheese was such a trigger, I have a spoonful, and I crave it. Did your nutritionist have any recommendations for that stage?

You could purée it, but honestly it has very little nutritional value. How do you feel about some scrambled eggs with cheese on them? Much better for you. Lots of protein.

I found a healthier Mac and cheese in a cook book I have I was wonder if I can eat it yet...but I'll wait....and I don't have a nutritionist LOL was never given one...

Pasta takes up room in your tummy without giving you the nutrition you need. Worse yet, it is a carb and calorie bomb; a healthier mac and cheese is still not healthy. My nutritionist requires me to have 60 grams of protein and limited me to 800 calories a day It doesn't take a lot of food to equal 800 calories and it is important to get those calories from foods that are high in protein. The sleeve helps you eat less but just as important is what you are eating. Because you do not have a nutritionist, I suggest you research bariatric nutrition online and follow some of the bariatric menus/recipes blogs such as theworldaccordingtoeggface which Jerseygirl recommended. The food and nutrition section of this forum is also good.
