Food

Ok tomorrow I will be one month sleeved, but are having problems eating food. For example today I ate some scrambles eggs for Breakfast and by the time i walked into target I was running to the bathroom to throw it all up.

So I walked around the store with my sis and than had to go to the bathroom very loose stools.

On the way back I passed Starbucks and bought a piece of pumpkin bread, and I was able to eat it just fine.

So my question would be what the heck do I do? I keep all liquids down but are having a heavy feeling of nausea.

It's so hard to pin point the culprit in the early months. I went through lots of that and never really determined the food or cause...I carried zofran with me everywhere..I remember the hurried craze I would be in trying to get that zofran in my mouth before I threw up.

Talk with your Dr and make sure all is well and then just try and get that zofran.

I wish you the best.

I will also be 1 month out tomorrow and I have the same issue. I talked to my nurse and she said wait a couple of weeks and the reintroduce the eggs . I find that I have to puree things to be able to eat them and keep them down. hang in there it will slowly get better, at least that's what they tell me :)

Ok. Your food problem. First eat your protein. Try baby food turkey, chicken or beef meal jars. No salt, just add what you like. Stay away from all breads! No sugars. Besides, right now you should be eating pureed meals. Eggs are too heavy. I can't eat one entire egg and I was sleeved 10/30/12. Research meal plans. Talk to your bariatric coordinator. Hope this helps.
