Recovery for plastics

How long is the recovery time for a tummy tuck and a breast lift? I'm only 4 months out from vsg, but I'm assuming I'm going to need these.

Surgeons don't recommend these until around 2 years post op as that's when your weight would stabilize.

Tummy tuck is longer than breast lift. I don't remember exactly but TT is about 4 weeks to feel comfortable. Get your surgery when you are ready, 2 years, that sounds extreme. Your weight could be up or down regardless of time frame.

My plastic surgeon and VSG doc said plastics are o.k. At one year out. Just had my TT this past Thursday and i've taken 2weeks off from wirk. I hope I'll be able to go back by then!

I also am an industrial maintenance technician (far, far from a desk job), and I went to two different doctors & they said I would be ok to go back to work in two weeks... Oh, and I'm having a TT, breast lift/implant, mini-arm lift.

Will you please post an update on your healing schedule and if you are able to go back after 2 weeks? I am looking forward to a TT and breast augmentation as soon as I can afford it. :)

Thanks for all the info everyone! I'm 35-40 lbs until goal and am assuming I'm going to need a tummy tuck and at least a breast lift. A friend of mine got her insurance to pay for her tummy tuck, I'm not quite sure how though. That would always be nice.
