Weight gain 3 weeks post-op?!?

So I'm 23 days post op. DOS I was 241#. I weighed myself on X-Mas & was 225#. Just weighed myself today & I'm 229#. WTH?? I'm on puréed foods & am sticking to my diet & exercising.. Is anyone else having this problem? I thought I would have lost at least 5-6# over the week I didn't weigh in.. But I never thought I would have gained 4#!!! :'(

It's so frustrating!! I feel like I went through the pain of the surgery, and I'm not getting results. :(

I was feeling the same way about the pain and everything but I know we will lose the weight yesturday I had a little more liquids than normal and today I woke up weighting 273 :-)

It's called the 3 week stall search the forum for it several people go through it. It should pass soon. Good luck!

That's great! We are supposed to be at 64oz a day right? How much liquid can you keep down?

Yes 64 oz a day the most I'm doing is 40 ounces. What about you?

Thx Chris. I saw a few of them.. It's just kind of discouraging. I hope to get over this soon. Did it happen to you?

Could also be time of month too. I gain a week or so right before that's how I know it's a comin!

I have heard that your weight can fluctuate alot and the best thing to do is take measurements. I try to weigh my self once a month or when I am at the doctors. I try to stay positive as long as I am losing inches its a success.
