Dizzy spells?

Hey hey all!

So question has anyone else experienced major dizzy spells?

I was sleeved in may all was fine till last month and I started getting major dizzy spells even just sitting still not much moving major light headed dizzy spell like the feeling of being on a ship or swaying but all in your head, also some times when I walk like that’s major like a drunk on a ship.

I told my consultant when I see them in august they sent me for blood tests but didn’t know why I was getting this.

It settled down but the past 3 days has been like constant dizzy spells sitting standing walking across the room my head is spinning like crazyyyyyyyy!

my blood work showed really low vitamin D and I was prescribe that but no clue why its kicked back in and other than going to hospital I have to wait till Wednesday to go see my gp.

Anyone having this happen to them?

Or anyone have experience with low blood pressure to give me an idea if that might be it?

Not had my BP checked in months never had high but wondering if it could be low now and that’s causing it.

Thanks peeps!

Yes, I was dizzy and I believe it's fairly common. I recommend discussing with your Dr. I was on BP meds and they had to be lowered.

I was actually coming here to post about this exact same thing. I actually passed out the night, before last. Hubby heard me fall, and found me on the floor. I am so scared it will happen again, but have no idea what is causing it. I have felt dizzy several times, but it always only lasts a minute and disappears.

I get all my fluids, take my Vitamins and get my Protein. I was sleeved 7/18.

Folks get your potassium levels checked and make sure you are not dehydrated if you have had your BP meds adjusted. This from me who face planted last month and ended up in hospital.

Been there. Okay, yes you need to check with your surgeon or doctor but here are some things to check.

Are you getting in 64oz of fluids? Or are you just flushing out electrolytes? Have you tried smart Water with no calories but added electrolytes or g2 gatorade. Hydration is critical to your health. Low hydration equals lower BP and causes dizziness.

Are you taking your supplements? Taking them as needed and with food?

How many carbs are you getting daily? I was a zealous nut over my carbs, never going over 30 a day until I hit goal. But, I was often weak and dizzy. Sometime I had to take a few bites of ice cream to up those carbs and get some sugar in the blood stream.

Hope you figure it out soon. This is a learning journey, your experience is always unique but you are not alone.
