Home again post op

Was walked into operating room, lied down and hooked up here and there, given drugs and woke up 2 1/2 hours later. It seemed like 5 or 10 minutes went by although I now was in allot of pain.

5 cuts. Sutures were clean and neat and surgicaly glued closed, which for me was a sign it was carefuly done but also do not hurt a bit.

Was in pain in my stomach 2 days, now not as much and can move about pretty well already, medicine takes care for that.

No hunger, yes, I was not hungry as I sipped my 1 ounce water for 24 hours, not at all. I smelled foods being eaton by hospital employees but did not want to eat them at all, although I can not yet report any strange sensations when trying to drink or eat such as super sweet taste.

So, waited over night to be tested, then 24 hours sipping water, then 2 ounce Ensure breakfast and sent home, wa - la ! I am sleeved.

Best things I brought, biotine moisture mouth spray ( first day ), baby wipes ( clean up after catheder removed and fresh up ), over sized robe ( for walking halls at hospital ).
