Lightheadedness?

I was sleeved on Monday, the 10th and have developed something new today - lightheadedness. I'm not sure what is going on. I am not getting all my protein and water in, but I would say about half of each. I checked my bp and it is fine so I have no idea what is going on. I don't recall this being mentioned by the doc or NUT as a side-effect. Anyone else experience this?

I am pre-op but my nutritionist said my lightheadedness was due to a lack of carbs. Your best bet would be to call your nutritionist for some guidance. Good luck and congratulations on your surgery!

Adover: what did you nut recommend that you do? Up your carbs? Just curious. I get up in the am and am light headed also. Sometimes shakey too. I thought it was dehydration but I get in 65ozs a day.

LovieC: Congrats on your surgery. This is something that you might want to discuss with your surgeon and nut. Also, you might use My Fitness Pal (myfitnesspal.com) to count everything your eating to get a better pic. It is really important right now that your diet is mainly Protein to maximize weight loss. :)
