do weight gaining meds effect weightloss?

I'm on Paxil for anxiety n scared some of my weight might hv come from it..will surgery still work?any advice?

    I was told some meds do slow a weight loss. My bp meds don't exactly help the weight loss, so I am sooooo looking forward to being off them.
