Crushing Meds

My doctor says I can't take any pills for 5 weeks after surgery, so I should crush my medications to take them. However, one of my meds is a coated pill and it says not to crush. What should I do? I HAVE to take this med!!

Im taking my meds without crushing them with no issues and i was sleeved on Thursday.

I wasn't crushing mine either because the hospital said I didn't have to but then I was reading thru my manual from my doctor and it says in there to crush them! So now I'm worried since I didn't crush them the first couple days. I'm 4 days post op.
