I was sleeved on Monday 11/26 with band removal still a little pain ....I'm not coughing up blood anymore n I'm walking as much as I can....I'm ready to get my workout on so the pounds can drop .....

Is coughing up blood normal????

The nurse seem to think so ..... It was clots of blood she could it was mostly from the tube they had in my throat

Oh yeah, I coughed up blood for 12 hours after surgery. You just had your stomach removed! Pretty sure there will be some bleeding!

I guess I just never heard anyone say they were coughing up blood..... Glad I read this now

I imagine I would have been scared if I had no idea!

Anyway, glad the bleeding stopped!

When I first seen it I just started crying .... I didn't know what to think
