3Rd Week Stall!

Well I guess it's true what everone says about the third week! I've gained one pound over the last week and the scale hasn't moved since! I'm ok with that. I've lost 21 pounds and I'll be 4 weeks out on Saturday. Throughout my adult life I've lost 50-60 pounds and gained it all back 4 times. I don't eat unhealthy never eat fast food, only drink water, and mostly only cook at home. My problem was I had an enormous appetite! I could eat like a football player! I guess with this surgery I'm not expecting to lose all my weight overnight. Even though it sucks after all we've been through going through with a major surgery! Haha. I'm glad I've found the support from the people on this site!

Your story is very similar to mine - I ear very healthy - just started drinking things like Vitamin WAter because my NUT advised it.

My problem was also a HUGE appetite! Good luck!

My surgery was 11/8 and I too have "stalled" in my third week. Thank goodness for this site and my doctor, at least I was forwarned that this it typical. Will be happy when the scale starts "moving" downward again! Good luck to you.

Yep, welcome to the club, don't worry about the stall, and don't weigh every day. Your body goes up and down by a couple of pounds every week anyway. I'll get on the scale one day and be 4 lbs. lighter 2 days later. Unreal. Your body has a lot of physical adjustments to go through, as does your digestive system. You will lose weight. :)
