Thanks for posting! Great to hear how well it went for you. Hope things continue on the same smooth course and your kids are adorable. I read one post how someone was sick for 5 days and thinking gee, I hate to throw up....so your post came at just the right time.

Yes! I agree! Thanks for posting this! I am pre-op.. Surgery date is feb 7th. I am doing a lot of research and preparing myself, especially for those first weeks post-op! :) good luck to you and your journey!

What are you able to eat at 12 days post op?

Its funny, I'm on the liquid diet, which mine allows me cream Soups and puddings and jello...but honestly I have just been drinking 2 large Protein Drinks getting 60 grams of Protein off that and crystal light with unjury unflavored protein, getting around 80 grams a day of protein and way more than necessary. I'll have tomatoes Soup with skim milk or chicken broth once a day. Not craving any food at all. Can start puree on monday but as fast as I'm losing weight I'm not in a huge hurry.

I can drink pretty much like I could before surgery. I don't guzzle, just take nice big sips pretty much constantly.

Hope others are as successful as I have been so far. Keep waiting for a setback, hopefully it doesn't come.
