I was approved and my surgery date is 12/11/12. Feeling very nervous,and happy at the same time but more scared than anything. Just can't wait till this day gets here and get this over with!

Congrats! I'm the day before you. I'm scared as he'll but also very excited to finally lose this weight.

Hello again, I am in New Haven CT, Yale GI group, bariatric surgeons. I was nervous for a few days, pretty badly, going over the reality of big changes to be made and difference of things after it's done led me to some pent up fears coming out, right now though i am fine. Remnd yourself that what you wanted and thought before was bigger than just the fears, put them aside and feel the better things you think to get done. I was thinking it all at the same time and now am just working on the needs for the few weeks before and after plus the short hospital stay, this replaced the fear cloud I was in.
