Just Sleeved

It has been one week since my surgery. Everything is going well. The hard part for me is wanting to eat normal food. I realize I can't eat much but the liquids and taste of the protein is hard for me. I'm feeling very well and excited about what the future holds.

I'm 1 week today also and I know how you feel. I did 10 day liquid preop and I just want some real food. Did have some mashed potatoes today. Anything but a protein drink.

I'm on that same wagon! Sleeved last Friday and trying so hard to be good about staying on the clear liquid diet until my follow up appt on Wed morning where I find out if I get to progress to Level 2 diet (soft foods, mushies, etc.). I've neer looked forward to getting to have soft boiled eggs, cottage cheese or creamy Peanut Butter in my life!

Good luck to you! So happy to hear you're healing well and quickly.
