Well done lass, I am on day 15 now and still struggling with food. Dr said its fine as long as I'm still getting in my Protein each day. Xxx

I was sleeved on November 5th. I'm on pureed and soft food. I have not had any trouble with eating and still do a couple protein drinks a day. My main incision is still sore when I move in certain directions. I had my post op last week and everything looks good. Doc said that main incision will hurt for quite a while. I'm down 12 pounds post op.

Hi, sounds like you are doing great. I'm getting better with puréed foods now. Have tried prawns, cod, chicken soup(no bits) and tonight I am trying some puréed chicken with a wee bit of gravy. Think I might try having a Breakfast as well as a tea tomorrow but will play it by ear.

Hope out journeys keep on track and stay in touch. Xxx

:-) GOOD LUCK :-)

I'm feeling a little frustrated. It has been 4 days and I have not lost even a half a pound. I expect plateaus along the way but I did not expect it this soon. Grrr!

I haven't weighed myself since last Monday but I feel like I haven't lost any weight either...my its the transition to purees/soft....it has to get better..I'm sure

Nov 5th. I was thinking the same thing when stepped on the scale today, stall already? I can't wait to be cleared to exercise.

I'm a Nov. 5 surgery gal too. I'm now in the process of experimenting with solid foods. The experiments have been interesting to say the least. Some foods agree with me & some do not.

As of this morning, I'm 19lbs down, and most of the loss was in the first 2 weeks. It seems like this week has been slow in loss, but I'm not letting it frustrate me. It's hard not to weigh everyday or compare ourselves to other sleeve patients.... We all lose weight differently. My reasoning for not losing much weight this past week is that my body is confused & wants to hang on to my fat. I know it won't last, especially if I keep doing what I'm supposed to do. I am having a difficult time getting all my protein & liquids in everyday... But I get better everyday.

I live this forum and able to share @ get suggestions from others who are on this journey.
