I had my 3 1/2 month post op visit. My highest weight was 239. My surgery was on 8/7/12 and weighed 231. I weighed in last Friday and weighed 179. My dr was very pleased, and said you are doing great !!! You were small to begin with anyway. He asked me to speak to some potential surgery people, and I was happy to talk to everyone in the office about my success. They all said they would never thought I had surgery. I seem too small. I've never heard anyone call me small in my life.

Just wanted to share my story. It's been a hard road but so worth it

How tall are you? What was your BMI and what is it now?

I'm 5'5. When I started the surgery process my BMI was 40. I'm not sure what it is now. Didn't think to ask the dr.
