Wow, Really?

So I am 10 days post op and I am still on clears. My husband decides to cook a huge roast with all the veggies, mashes potatoes and cream corm. He even makes biscuits! Can't remember the last time he did this. So I have to be in the kitchen while he and my 13 year old daughter eat because our two year old will try to keep everyone from eating. I tell him to just save me the broth. I leave the room for the dessert course and he sends everything to my in laws! What was left- broth, he pours it out. He says he forgot!! All day I have smelled it cooking and I can't get any broth!!! Super irritated!! Thanks for letting me vent:-)

Oh, MAN! That's gotta hurt. I think your husband was probably trying to help out by doing cooking while you were still recovering. But he does seem rather "clueless", doesn't he? To make that wonderful food and then to forget to save you the broth? You should have maybe just stayed in the bedroom and let him deal with the 2-year old! Hopefully, as he grows up older, he'll be more aware of situations that aren't comfortable for other people. Just hang in there and get skinny!

I see a pamper night/ day coming your way!
