Solid Foods !

Evening everyone I'm wondering how long it was before each of you started back eating or preparing to eat solids again? I have seen many say a month and some say longer! How long was it for you all?

Every surgeon is different, but at 4 weeks out from my surgery I was allowed 'regular' foods again. The first 2 weeks were full liquids, then 2 weeks soft/pureed.

I was at 5 weeks out. Today I am 2 months and 2 days out and went to see my NUT and was cleared to eat more solid foods including rice and pasta. She is very strict on my diet and how I eat it, but I am eating all kinds of things. It seems like it takes forever while you are on liquids but before you know it, you will be eating solids for a very long time!

My NUT directions are fore 8 weeks out. Stages are key...
