For The First Time Ever!

I realized that I needed to get some new clothes that fit a little better.. being that I am at the start of my journey it pains me to buy clothes that a onth or two down the line I wont be wearing.. so I do lot of clearance shopping. I went to Macy's and was finding dresses left and right that were cute! I took a few different sizes in with me to try..and I was so happy when things were too big! Everything I tried of either fit or was too big!! I have never in my life had things that were too big.. things were always too small! Dresses are my go to right now, I figure when they get a little big I can still wear them, just belt them. They won't look as bad as saggy pants! Pants are my issue still and probably will be forever. I carry my weight in the middle so have no butt or legs.. so findng pants that fit in all the right areas is next to impossible! So stoked that I found 5 dresses that fit me and the most I paid for one was 13$.. now that is a deal :) Just had to share somewhere that people would understand my excitement of clothes being too big :)

Awesome! I agree with you. I was sleeved October 3rd and am just now realizing that clothes are starting to get pretty baggy. Such a great feeling. I discovered a consignment shop in my town and have started shopping there. Great deals and what clothes I have shrunk out of I get store credit for. Super good for me!

Also, I am not sure how thrifty you are or want to be, but I find that some of the Goodwill stores and/or Second Hand stores in higher end suburbs have great choices in clothing that are VERY gently used. I agree....I am not paying hundreds of dollars on clothes that I am going to wear for maybe a month or two.

Hooray for getting cute dresses for $13 or less! That my friend, is a super bargain.

Let me know if you find other great deals out there...

Take care!

I wish there were better thrift shops where I live.. I've checked out a few and the more higher end ones don't have much in the big girl sizes.. what they do have is not what I could/would wear :( So for now I am doing clearance shopping which for me has turned out to work great! I won't give up on thrift stores yet! LoL. Thanks for the advice!
