Dizzy Spells

So over the past 4 days I have had horrible dizzy spells when I stand up. I am well hydrated and eating all my protein. It's really bad when I get home from the gym. Yesterday I almost blacked out, I saw black spots and fell over. I am contacting my doctor tomorrow but I'm really freaked. Today it hasn't been that bad, but at least half the time when I stand I have to hold on to something. It's also when I lean over. It's worried because my job is a lot of leaning over. If I pass out at work it will be mortifying.

How far post-op are you?

Check your BP...I do this sometimes. The other day I started feeling really bad, and was very dizzy. My BP was 98/60. My issue when I work out is I get a killer migraine and get dizzy.

I am 9 weeks post op.

I'd say it has a lot to do with your body changes. Call your dr, just to make sure. But check all of your vitals too, just to stay safe!

bubles089 are you on BP meds? If so they may have become too strong for you with your weight loss. My meds have been dramatically reduced since losing 45 pounds. My surgery was 9/20/12.

No I have never has Bp issues, my preop base line was 120/70, I don't have a machine at home to check it but I do at work.

it could be just a inner ear infection

Also make sure you get your potassium levels checked.

Good luck
